The Line-Up

Would you like to meet the chefs who guided my tasty adventure at LCB? I thought so!

(If they all look bored, it's probably because of the administration's looooooong graduation speech, which the chefs-- most of whom are not known for their patience-- must sit through four times each year..)

From left to right: Chefs Bruno Stril, Jean-Jacques Tranchant, and Frederic Lessourd (the "Little Chef").

On the left, Chef Patrick Caals (the "Tall Chef") and on the right, Chef Philippe Clergue ("Mr. Bean").

And last but not least:

Chef Xavier Cotte, the "Mean Chef."

The Mean Chef apologized to his former students in his graduation speech, saying he was sorry "if I ever yelled at you... but you know, that's how I am, so that's how it is." Yes indeed.

Thanks for the memories.

I like that "The Mean Chef" is the one who gets the most press and makes the biggest impact. It makes me rethink my teaching strategy ;-)

They do look very bored. That must have been some speech.

Huge congratulations on your graduation.
